Group Class 1

Group Class 1

In this session, we explored the fundamentals of ETS Silat beginning with Bunga (“flower movement”) to develop flow and structure. Students practiced Cimande footwork patterns and integrated upper body hand positioning for coordination and balance. Partner drills reinforced timing and application, while hard-block striking methods (Kelid & Salup) were introduced for defense and countering. The class concluded with blending empty-hand hard-block strikes into applications with the Kancing stick (short stick), emphasizing both adaptability and practicality.
